tommyb464 0
Right basically I have been out and about with my springers and I have recently been using my SMK SYNXS and I have found it a pleasant rifle to shoot and is lethal from 20-30 yards with headshot of course. I will be moving onto pcp in a few months but i fancy trying a c02 while I am saving for the s200. Can anyone recommend a good c02 rifle that is lethal from 30-50 yards. Preferably budget is 100-200 pound(second hand) THANKS! Quote Link to post

Only really two Co2's out there, the QB's (based on the old Crosman range) and the 850 Airmagnum (Umarex) I wouldn't suggest trying to hunt out to that range with either though not until you become a very proficiant Marksman and can do it repeatedly on paper first. In order to do that, it's going to take years of experince judging distance, wind direction, speed and other variables. Even shooters such as Si, Davy, Marksman Festa Wurz and the rest of the greatest shooters on here don't often undertake such shots. Because I've had a bit of 'time off' from being on a range or in the field I wouldn't try it until my eye is back in. Tony Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Ok well i want to upgrade my springer I have read good things about tx200 can this kill rabbits? Does a Bear shit in the woods? Seriously, almost ANY gun even a HW45 Pistol is capable of dropping a rabbit, Modern guns will always outshoot the shooter, I've said it before and I'll say it a million times over, it is the shooter that is the weakest link The TX is superb, but very heavy. You mentioned the S200? I've been using one for a few years now and it's superb does everything I ask of it, as long as I do my part Tony 1 Quote Link to post
tommyb464 0
Yeahh i do want an s200 but out of my budget at the moment unless someone fancies dropping me one with a scope and pump for £300 lol Quote Link to post
What rabbit 2
you wont go wrong with a tx200 [bANNED TEXT] great rifle. Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
I wouldn't waste your money on co2 to be honest, just buy a decent springer such as a tx200 and that's all you will ever need! I have one in .22 that I havnt placed on for sale section yet, want 200 quid for it but it's gun only, it does have a 3-9 x 50 AO scope attached but I think it's slightly faulty. More than happy to let it go with the gun for free, might just need tinkering with. Based in Gloucestershire. Quote Link to post
