johnny boy68 11,726
Teams playing the right way at the minute mate. Most disciplined England side I've seen for years. You make yourself hard to beat and your half way there.. ohhhh ohhh living on a prayer...... sorry couldnt resist that.... but yeah we played well in a hostile environment, cannot wait till sunday now, gonna be a make or break game imo.... Gonna be a make or break game in your opinion!! DOH its a knockout game, they're all make or break games.

Roy would have been safe in his job even if they had failed to win a single game. He's already stated that this is Capello's squad competing in this tournament. I don't think he was meant to come in as manager until Capello's contract had finished after the tournament.
johnny boy68 11,726
Stewie in all fairness mate England have passed a lot of peoples expectations by getting through the group, let alone winning it! As Mal said Hodgson's job is safe and a little bit fickle of you to think otherwise tbh......I for one expected England to do quite well has the weight of expectation wasn't as great for this tournament as previously. I think you'll beat Italy and then who know's.
billybaltic 308
Roy's safe as house's, even if we didn't get out the group he would still of been ok, nothing was expected, so it's a bonus from now on, i would rather face italy than some of them, if it was spain, no-one would expect anything, but cause it's italy people think we have a chance, i think we might have a good chance. johnny boy68 11,726
I fancy the czech's to do a number on the portugese tonight.
Malt 379
Both have underperfomed so far IMO Johnny. The Czechs aren't the same team as they were since Nedved and other players of his generation have retired, and Petr Czech hasn't been in the best of form either. Portugal have just been average. I reckon it all depends on what sort of game Ronaldo has. If he's on fire then I can't see past a Portugal win. If he has another off day then they're there for the taking. Lab 10,979
There one team i really hate watching. They have perfected the art of diving, i'm 100% sure they must practice it in training. Watch tonight when any of the Czech players are about to make a tackle they turn there body so it looks like a tackle from behind..... End up flinging 2 legs in the air and then proceed to roll about the floor. Embarrassing!!! Hope the Czechs put them out......
Malt 379
Lab, that's a bit stereotypical seeing how every fecking match I've watched so far has seen players flying to the deck at the slightest hint of contact! Worst I saw was Schwienstiger after one of the opposition patted him on the back for a good tackle. He turned his head, saw it was an opposition player then hit the deck and started rolling round with the cum face for full effect! I forget which team it was against, but the funny thing was he'd just put in a man of the match performance. I hate it all, but it's sadly something which appears here to stay.. I find it difficult to stay tuned to a football match if I've just watched a rugby match these days, it's so off putting watching the fannies roll around with fake pain etched on their faces when you've just watched odd minutes of blood and thunder.. The czech's are missing a striker imo, Baros was a good player but his main weapon(pace) is not there now. Ps hopefully we'll get that win in the 3rd test.
Malt 379
Ps hopefully we'll get that win in the 3rd test. Mate I was crushed last weekend. I could see what was coming as soon as we kicked the ball back to them with about a minute left..
