gnasher16 30,025
You can tell what the atmosphere is like from the tv, how can you not? But I can see my opinion on it means nothing to you. But what about the opinion of an expert? An ex footballer? I can't mind his name but it'll come to me. During holland v Germany game last night they were talking about atmospheres at the games and how flat some were. His words were, the flattest atmosphere he has been at so far was englands. I'm sure I'm not the only one to hear it but hey gnash, your the expert. The reason I call you arrogant and you mention me posting 50 odd posts to bring down England. Least it's football I'm bringing down where as your posts are aimed at belittling me trying to make yourself look big. You arrogantly believe your opinion is right and that's that. As for me showing my lack of knowledge with wanting England to play glitzy football, no I think you'll find that's you showing your stupidity. I know fine well all the shit teams have a no lose policy, that's the f*****g point did Germany play not to lose or win? Portugal? Did the Czechs? No but the pish teams do. All this you can't win the group stages but you can lose them is the usual garbage folk come out with to cover up there own failings. Every c**t worth there salt are saying England should have pushed forward more but hey, the worlds wrong and gnash is right. Baw......you honestly believe the aim of my posts are " to belittle you " dont flatter yourself son your not that important to me !!.....the aim of my football related posts are to discuss a topic of interest with likeminded folk....sadly you are too bitter and poisonous towards English football to hold a decent conversation on the subject but stupidly sometimes when you throw the bait out myself or others bite, sometimes i dont.....................ive had some decent chats with countrymen of yours and i love their enthusiasm for the game......but your just irritating, nothing more nothing less.....you have the last word if you like .....then go and turn your tv up full volume and create a great atmosphere ! Malt 379
Italy vs Croatia was an interesting match. Going to be a tight group that, and much as I'd love to see Ireland get something against Spain this evening, I can't see anything other than a Spanish win. I'd love nothing better than to be proved wrong though, come on Ireland!

Seems mad the Italians and Dutch are more than likely going out......says a lot about how much other countries are catching up with the traditional " big " footballing nations.........Id love the Micks get a result but its hard to see like .....I think its been a great tournament so far dont you Malt, plenty of goals, good football and a few surprises..........to give the game some added interest im going to sling a few quid on the Irish to get a draw.....you never know ! baw 4,360
I never said all your posts gnash, but any I make your more concentrated in bringing me down than actually discussing football. Ok I admit I was trying to wind you guys up. It'll be the last on this thread until you go out lol. Wee secret, I was watching the football yesterday and was thinking how more exciting it must be to watch it when your country is taking part. Unfortunately as a Scotland fan, we don't experience that too often. Any how gnash, olive branch and all that.
Malt 379
Yeah, I've enjoyed the tournament so far Gnash! International football will always hold an appeal for me, even as a neutral. The way things are going with the money and foreign owners on the domestic scene, it's great to see the sport played out on level terms with each team having to make the most out of what they have at their disposal. IMO its the only truly pure version of the game left at the top level.
