dazzz 421
as for a strain of known jackers well thats just in one jealous mans mind There are jackers in every line no matter how good some dogs in the line are or have been only fools dont realise that. Dont no why that fat prick rattles so many cages with what he says he is a nobody in the dog world as far as Iam concerned. Your bitch looks in nice condition standing very nice, tall on her toes. thats true Moscow and there is top dogs ruined by the owners as well who in another mans hands would have been more than usfullthat is my point, just because "the nobody lol" ruined his bitch then he tars anything that has even sniffed the arse of anything with minshaw in them as jackers mine included even though he has never and never will see her run Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,324
Anyone who knows lurchers Bigdaddy knows thats true but when you get folk trying to shoot you down for "heaven forbid" breeding a jacker and more so a Minshaw lol then you need the valium close by haha...it can get depressing to say the least ..no one seems to care about all the decent ones in the line just the odd bad apple ..ATB Andy Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
Still a good read fellah's...!!! And Andy the worst thing you done was let the Minshaw thread on Hunter-united die or never even copeyed and pasted it for future reference fellah now that was a thread and a half and i spent many a nights on the beer reading it....Great thread and still one of my best readings on the net IMO..!! Lets be honest fellah's who anit had a dog skid on on us...? And too be fair if you anit you anit pushed far enough with your dogs iv had too many skid on me and seen mates dogs skid on them up too there chest, Out of a LOT of lines up and down the country, And i mean top class stuff that just not got it when pushed is it the line's fault NO, Do i look on that line as jackers no course i dont not everyone out a litter can be a super star's or even make it as an decent alrounder (Proper alrounder i mean), I only every seen one Minshaw bred type in my yrs of working dogs and the bitch was rubbish werent worth as carrot IMO and the lad that brought her would tell you the same, But after talking too a few and the fellah that bred her i know why now, Entered far too young and pushed over her limits far too young and as a rule just abused really as a young un poor fcuking thing really looking back now... What can you really expect really..? Has it put me off Minshaw's course not... But i think IMO theres only two decent source's in this country (As i know there a few handy type's in Ireland too say the least) But iam on about here and thats the only place id source a pup from if i was looking for a pup it would be off either one of these's fella's, And that not arse licking or blowen smoke up anyone arse just the way i see things.......... 2 Quote Link to post
johnny boy68 11,726
Well I had Bron out mooching up the Dales over the weekend, the little bitch really impressed, improving throughout the day and catching her first proper rabbits(she's had a few mixi's), she marked real strongly, caught bolters and hunted up and caught a few. She was a little excitable at times but no worries as she's only 10 months and not had a heat yet, so no doubt she'll calm a bit when she's had her heat. All in all I'm happy with her progress and watching her run on them dales was a real pleasure to watch, she really can run on that rough ground and has a real desire to catch. Heres a few pics......... 9 Quote Link to post

She hunted so well through the day, hunting up and catching a few in the cover, she can really run on them Dales, no ground to rough. Pity we couldn't get a little lamping session in but we got another invite up next moon down and the permission is all sorted so hopefully I can add another string to her bow. Real happy with the little cur she gives me that buzz, exciting times ahead if the early signs are anything to go by. Quote Link to post
