@Reddawn..I give up..there's two much to explain..go back to page one and read through carefully..one thing that won't of been mentioned though is i have not seen one Minshaw bred lurcher run..not that it make's any difference..

 

 

beleive me millet, theres nowt you can explain to me aboot them, iv heard it all before an not off somebody who has just jumped aboard the minshaw train, you aint even lamped ye pup yet but ye given up trying to explain lol

 

like i said earlier, your pup, do what ye please with it, call it what ye will, but dont start throwing a hissy fit cos folks are calling it a colliex, after all your calling it a minshaw when minshaw never bred it lol

Right millet last time I'm gonna try to explain as don't want to ruin thread. Yes your dog is a minshaw as that's the name of the line regardless of what's thrown in there we are not trying to take that away, but it is also a collie x as the main base breed in your pup is collie remember minshaw is not a base breed. And collie is the last base bred added then a few generations again I think pure collie was added. I think if you would of had a pup a decade ago from the line you prob couldn't call it a collie x but now with collie being so strong in the line and your collie looking so collie like and collie traits it surely would make it a collie x to. Which ain't a bad think I'm a fan of minshaws and collie x's but it's just my view

If I was asked what my pup is if she was mine I'd say to people she's a collie x from the minshaw line

Sorry for my over opinionated view but that's how I see it lol

I agree with you to some extent 99% and i don't want to and won't argue with you as i value your opinion.. ..let's just say mine pup in question is a lurcher x collie..

Give over lol..watch your blood pressure will you haha...lads who have had or have got dogs bred down from mine know pretty much how they have been bred for nigh on the past half a century and most of all they are out of proven

grafters..I call my dogs Minshaw bred,all my dogs carry blood of the Bulpa dog from nigh on 30 years ago..I ain't hanging on to nothing when it comes to putting a name to my dogs..I personally think I've kept them long enough to call them what I like? Vic would tell you the Bulpa dog was Minshaw bred being out of Blue..I've continued to do the same over the years..I ain't out to pull the wool over anybodys eyes when it comes to calling my dogs Minshaws...I think I've earned the right to call them what I like after all these years?..Minshaws dogs are where mine came from so that's where I'm staying..
