Guest PIKEYLAMPER
Whin myself personally I'd never been to the Dales until 4 year ago,I done the majority of my hunting up North in the Lothian areas and Dumfriesshire and that was for both rabbits and hares, when I say I caught thousands of hares up there I'm talking in excess of ten thousand,no big deal, the fields are a mixture of pasture, arable and moorland and I wasn't selective as to what and which fields I let the dogs run in,if there was gear in it would have it's wits tested, let's not go down the collie can't catch stuff again, trust me mate they did,I only lamped mine and I wouldn't say different,no some of them wouldn't of touched a hare in the day but I don't recall ever saying they would? ATB Andy 10 THOUSAND HARES?????? Am I the only person that has read that? Never read so much nonsense in all my life. Quote Link to post
