MINSHAW .....

Believe me this dog does not need any greyhound blood adding to him, his Dam is a half x bull and the last thing he needs is speed.

He hasnt had any greyhound blood for 5 generations at least!

This has left me with a bit of a poser. I'm off three but while I got a few good minds on il take advantage of a bit of brain picking. IV got a dog im wanting to bring into my lurcher world. His half x collie grey to pure add. His like a massive collie dog with everything Sept speed. I'm thinking my only option is a greyhound bitch.? If I put him to say a nice fast saluki greyhound then im thinking the saluki would take the credit for any stamina? Same theory of putting bull blood in my collies. The bull would likely take the credit for any agression on sharp stuff.?

be honest jo im starting to wish I haddnt cause from what I hear. His starting to settle. But fair question. He was a f*****g loony.lol.everything I pointed him at he went 100 mph at and often did himself a mischief. One of the other problems I had with that dog was he was a picky eater an through his weight of in a night. I got round that by gentle road work, enough to make him hungry but not letting him on anything he could bust himself on.

Bit injury prone and lacked a bit of wind didnt you say at one point?

Wouldnt worry about what or who taking the credit so long as they do as you ask.

that's just it max. I went that way so the collie and acd were the brains and brawn.so to a greyhound bitch seems to me my best option? Jo that dog did blow himself out an injuries were common but as iv herd his calmed with another season on him I now wonder did I let him down by not standing him up an giveimg him more time to mature?
