FUJI 17,327
Been quite a while since any Greyhound blood has been in the Don dog Edited June 28, 2012 by poacherspocket22 Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,327
and to poacherpocket a geunine inquiry do u think when you was running these minshaw yrs ago was there enough accessiblity to a good coursing english dog and would u have added that rather than a greyhound...and what was the old minshaw type feet like.. Being truthful karlsberg up and around where we live 30 year ago i didn't know of ANY day coursing dogs or lads into it?,i was only a teenager then and with no internet, mobile phones etc we/i were kind of in an enclosed "bubble" with just a circle of dog lads who were doing much the same thing? There was lads going out a picking up bits and pieces with their dogs during the day but NOTHING like the endeavours you hear of these days about some of the coursing blooded dogs? Without doubt the coursing type dogs would have had far more to offer than a pure Greyhound in general but hindsight is such a great thing ..ATB Andy. 1 Quote Link to post
Guest Moscow
Made fortunes mate from Quality blood Just sold a Greyhound bitch pup at Earmarking stage for Good WONGA but then she carries the right Blood and with the right rearing and schooling which is just as important as the breeding she has a chance. Right be back later just off to watch one of my Quality Greyhounds trial. He has won his last 3 on the trot 4/1 7/4 5/4 Oi Oi wonga Now this lad would compliment a good mongralised lurcher line. He is by the Irish Derby Finalist Hollywell First and his Sire is the Double Derby Winning Westmead Hawk. Probably the best Greyhound of Modern Times. All pures have a use at stud if bred for the job and its that certain breed you think will improve your line for the job you want. Andy your capable, download the pics of Greyhound Data of England Expects and post them on here since we talking Greys at the moment. Now this was a Greyhound. Home Bred, Home Reared, Home Schooled then i won his first 2 races on the flapps along with his bro Wilfy Wells. These two lads won me around 40k in Prizemoney and Gambling. Their litterbros Razzmatazz and Run Of The Hawk were Top of the tree also. Probably the Best British bred litter born that year out of all GB Registered litters. Not bad for a no good for nothing Peddler I have absolutely no interest in greyhound racing so am I supposed to be impressed? you jumped on my post pushing your opinions of greyhounds and didnt like me telling you the truth now leave it at that.
