FUJI 17,327
The dogs that are bred from Don in the right hands and entered right will make some exceptional mooching companions! Fingers crossed anyways matey...i'm well happy with Don,couldn't have asked for much more out of him to be honest?..seems to be decent at the ferret game?,lamps bunnies pretty decent?,has had loads of bunnies through the day hunting up himself or working with the terriers, been on a few redcoats and he done grand on them (shot 1st obviously)..tracked a good number of beasties in terrain that you would be barely able to stand upright yourself and in open land and even helped flush a few long lugs to the gun half a dozen being his best but he rarely get's offered a chance to flush them to be honest?...He is ok for a ugly cur Johnny?..i hope you lads with his pups get similar enjoyment out of them?..ATB Andy. 2 Quote Link to post

angel 2
Andy, do you regret studing Jack out to people like JB who were only after using the minshaw name to make ££££ using your reputation instead of keeping the breeding to close friends and people true to the breed? Quote Link to post
bunnys 1,228
circumstances change in life beautys in the eye of the beholder much prefer the animal with a constitution of an ox ,those poor wafe types suffer when deep winter his up on us and the need to be able to be out every avaliable shift . the deficit will allways be made up , these types are much in keeping for those who prefer a low profile . my type of animal and the breeding potential with the rchosen dams well who knows . atb bunnys. Can't grumble on the line it sets the foundations but I think the biggest contributor to the dogs you own is yourself and all the hours out in the field with them, yes breeding helps you on the way but you have to live and breath dogs to get them to that standard, it certainly doesn't happen over night. Hope some of the newbees reading this understand that. Takes devotion to the sport to have this quality. Credit where it due 8 Quote Link to post

In a nutshell yes..but whats done is done..he's off breeding coursing dogs now and no doubt his like will come again but just like him they'll pass just like a fart in a thunderstorm .. FUJI 17,327
I was always told by my parents if your gonna do something then do it to the best of your ability ..it doesn't really matter to what standard at the end of the day?..try your darn best with the tools at hand and if you do that then you should be able to hold your head up high ..and that goes for everything in life 4 Quote Link to post
