Tiny 7 1,694
Iam not one for a straight Gh Joe. But would use a second x or grand parent as you say Imo i think you'll lose more going too the Gh rather than say a fast lurcher type? Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Dont like Don then Joe...? Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,099
Dont like Don then Joe...? It's the half brother of just about his whole team T7 so he must like 1/2 of him haha Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Or is it the amount of Collie blood used in Don Joe that dont suit your style of hunting? I like all the dogs in there own right. But i really did like Auld Jack think he was a decent stamp of a dog for everything? I know Andy that his carry very close blood too his lot via Moscow/Jack Via the Bulpa dog and so on IMO you's two carry the most Minshaw blood about in your tykes today..... I know Joe dont say talk alot but must agree? Quote Link to post
Guest Moscow
T7 Don is fine its those feathers(saluki) iam not a fan of and yes I agree a GH has a lot less to offer than a fast lurcher that has proven itself in the field at what its being bred to do. johnny boy68 11,726
Don to a pacy lightly built lurcher x lurcher would throw some handy types for the current climate of hunting. 1 Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,099
Myself,Joe and a good few others are happy enough with what we've got in our kennels, some don't make the grade but we'll get over that lol although some seem to like to make a song and dance over it! That young red dog of Deans out of Don has been really doing well of late on what many consider to be out the comfort zone of these dogs,at the end of the day you can only put the gear infront of them then it's up to them lol.. 4 Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Thats the way we are Andy run the cnut out of them and whats standing at the end season in season out might be worth breeding off, We could sit here all night talking about this one and that. Time will tell matey but i like alot of your dogs think Swift/Reggie Sox's to a point, Some off Joe's dogs Mollie/Marice/Eddie ,Rh dog out of Chester. And all the others over the pond doing abit Iam a lover of Lurcher/Lurchers out of stock thats run abit and still standing... And i think in future with the blood available will keep throwing ''Workers'' regardless of name ''Which everyone seem's worried about now a days'' Quote Link to post

chartpolski 23,002
Tiny, I don't know you, I think !! LOL !! But of the dogs you have mentioned, Swift/Reggie/Soxs/Mollie/Maurice/Eddie, which ones have you seen doing their job ? I was a big fan of Jack and Moscow, even though they where retired when I saw them, but they impressed me ! Genuine question mate ! Quote Link to post
