FUJI 17,288
Excellent stuff lads ..how are you finding the pups for speed, retrieving etc then? The word on the street when they were born is that they would be no good? ...were they right then? Quote Link to post

The word on the street when they were born is that they would be no good? ...were they right then? Bron is blessed with a great turn of speed, very rapid truth be told, if the ground is rough she just floats over it and makes a fool of my "fast" bitch at times. She's real powerful on the turn and can turn on a sixpence, she's a really lightly built bitch just a tad over 22tts so that helps imo. Her retrieve is coming along great though at times she does like to parade her catch a bit now and again but thats just puppy-ness and there being other dogs around but by herself she's fine. 1 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,288
Thanks Johnny ...none are perfect mate well not that i've ever came across anyway ..Don can be a bit like that at times with the parade ..i don't think these fecking terriers do any good hanging off the bunnies etc when he's trying to carry back? I'm sure we can live with that if thats all we have to worry about? Glad your team are doing your proud up there EDRD,i know you test them to the hilt and thats what the feckers want lol..owld Jack is in loads of handy mutts just now,he was a super dog to ourselves and i'm just kind of proud that although he's no longer here his "gang" are still putting the gear to bed just as he did ..enjoy your mutts lads because i know i enjoy getting out with mine .. son of Jack..."Do it dog Style" 3 Quote Link to post

Nice one millet.......have you seen much change in Lil since her heat has she calmed down at all? After her heat she seemed to calm down a little in some way's..she carried a little milk after the season and i think that may of played a part in it as her body went softer and she seemed a little down in the dump's.. but now that has gone she is back to being full on if not worse and can i fook tire her out...she is one million mph but in hunting mode at the same time...she never leave's me alone as she is in the house and she is forever bringing me gift's..a bit full on at time's but i dont mind as i find it funny..she is a real clever dog and probably the cleverest i have to date..if she want's something she will find a way to to let you know what she want's and she wont give in till she get's it..and if i ignore the yap and funny stare she will come to me and give me a nip with her front teeth.. ..not hard but enough to get my attention..some of the stuff she does is part human i am sure.. 2 Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Excellent stuff lads ..how are you finding the pups for speed, retrieving etc then? The word on the street when they were born is that they would be no good? ...were they right then? Well as for speed Fuji let's just say she is not far behind a dog that has nailed quite a bit of big fast stuff..with the added bonus of being able to turn as sharp as a hare..the retrieve is not text book at the moment as she will only bring within 3ft of me but a bit of fine tuning should see a end to that by next season.. ..she does not mess about any more with kill's no playing and running wild..once caught it is back to me...the other main thing is jumping which she excel's in she will jump anything in the dark which make's me turn away at time's and grimace.. she has hit quite a lot of fence's in doing so..but finger's crossed she has had no injuries and she will carry on not having any.. As for them being no good as the word on the street goes.. i will do a Minshaw Man (just kidding Aaz) and match any fooker ont the bunnies in 2 yr's time if she keep's going the way she is..
