I am just 1 of those boring fecker's that drink's about 3 times a year if i am am lucky and usualy after 5 or 6 pint's i am more interested in bed than picking up a computer

i only fish way rods bunnys an im a complete novice lol, i use the nets here for when the crops are up an the farmers are on me case aboot the rabbits, keeps the stock fed an land for the lamping season, im no expert at the long netting either, id just rather be oot fumbling way me double stranded net an hazel poles than laying in bed way the wifey dear

many yrs aback a was taken under the wing of a good netter , long netting the rabbs and the hares on the gate holes etc, also he had the duck flights taking duck with the nets and good water fowl, this old fella was a real gentleman unbelievable he dressed in ones sunday best to and from the job . the restaurants along the coastal roads never went with out water fowl and fishes . this fellas term were the creme la da creme there was even a lady in amongst them netting the large resovoirs for the slmon and trout . yes these fellas have sadly gone but not before he left some of there tales behind for those like minde to aquire the knowledge . atb bunnys.

usually carry 2 50yds an 2 25yds mate, an can get some decent bags if ye out, i do it more just to get out the house but i surprise meself sometimes lol was out nite before last an run 2 50s out on the edge of a big ole corn field, i suppose i coulda netted most of the 1 hedge but instead just dropped the nest infront of the 2 largest warrens an walked the field in i had 17, 12 in 1 net an 5 in other, i called it a nite then

i learnt all i know off this site mate, used to be a guy on here that wrote a book, peg to peg its called, an between his gifting me a copy of that an me anooying the life out a him on here way me mad questions, i decided to try the nets, my family are dogmen by nature an nets never come into it, but im very gratefull to the guy that showed me how best to get the bunnys when a dog wasnt an option

Ive only ever used longnet's once and we set them for munty's when we were pushing them from cover with hound's but could never get a decent run on them so we sett's the nets up and i put the hound's through and out run's a herd of fallow and took the net's with them :laugh:

these quick set nets are ok spun nylon they are not to bad i find , put can be a bugger for picking the trash up , the poles made from that fibre glas dunna like them , much prefer the small hazel pegs how do you find the nets red what type you prefer i like the small home made 30 yarders for just a few , half dozen ta ten adrops fine steady as ya go like . atb bunnys.
