bunnys 1,228
I dont think Blue had any collie in him? moscow thinking and knowning his neither here or there , personelly i thought the animal got his coat type and look from the early type strong breeds coming in to the country at theat time , maybe wrong , one has to assume of the bred types and xs in vogue at that time derhound types were comon and popular and deerhound plus beddy will throw blues for ev in generations and the blue and tan his a coat colour of old beddy types and bull terriers , what eva the collie if not so strong in the blue animal it certainly got put in big dollops thereafter. atb bunnys. Yer it was put in/added "in big dollops" after Blue, but as I said I dont think Blue had any collie in him. As for the coat colour blue there are quite a few greyhounds that colour it could of just as easily came from there? Quote Link to post

Guest born to run1083
Millet regardless what cross or line she is. The main thing is your happy. She seems a good sort and responding well with the time and training that's being put in. I can't wait to read the progress over the coming season to see how she's really coming on. Millet 4,497
I had a beddie whippet collie grey but she was called a lurcher even though she looked like a beddie cross she was never called a collie cross or beddie cross just a lurcher..had a saluki grey cross collie grey deer hound grey he was never called a collie cross just a lurcher..had 2 bull grey saluki grey's but they where not called bull crosses..just plain old lurcher's..so i can't get my head round this litter of pup's being called collie crosses..because they are not..they are lurcher's plain and simple realy.. 1 Quote Link to post
