FUJI 17,327
Oh he was a lovely dog Max,we took him lamping, mooching with the lurchers,on the lure, let him gallop on the beach, changed his walks regular, never let him get sucked into thinking there was nothing to his life except racing...he was one clever dog, some Greyhounds are as thick as pig shit,he was nigh on as clever as a collie,he really was..never seen another Greyhound as easy going and so laid back in my life?..ATB Andy. FUJI 17,327
Hedz,i've seen a pure Greyhound called Rosie who was just a "scrubber" catch 26 rabbits on the lamp at Penrith, she was fecked but considering she didn't really know the lamp i think that wasn't too bad? Seen her kill a few hares too..ATB Andy. Quote Link to post

How would your purpose Bred Lurcher fair against even a Collar and Lead Greyhound on the Track. You dont have to be Einstein to get somewhere near the answer. well why use a f****r then in an established line you tit ye bring ye best fastest f*****g greyhound and i will run ye with a lurcher ive got and to equal it out ill run ye with a young animal that is just over a year over a set amount of hours see how a top conditioned animal of yours fairs Quote Link to post

Guest bigdaddylongchopper
why not just use staying type lurchers max why use ghound,i cant see the point 1 Quote Link to post

Everything else in his locker was ideal if you felt the need for Grey blood. If you can get it use staying lines. Or ye could use a good fast lurcher with gears and wind from a tried and tested line that ye have seen graft in the field Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Its been and still is a great thread, even if max and joe said so cant agree. Nice to see the ideas behind the line and reason for, and not adding certain breeds............But ffs minshaw man take a chill pill and stop looking for daft challenges, if you want to challenge all and sundry do it via pm............
