Bosun11 537
Cant beat the good old lurcher to lurcher imo. I've got both one out of a straight grey and my other 2 are lurcher/lurcher. The one out of the grey is keen as mustard probly abit too keen on a few ocassions its just ran straight into fences, walls or gates haha! But it does lack abit in the wind department and isn't the best of turner. Also abit light framed for my liking. I'd put this down to the greyhound. But she is very nippy... Not as fast as swift though... So in theory i'd say the saluki lurcher has been more benifical than the pure grey for speed and size... Swift 26" Sox 24"! But Sox is handier on stuff that bite back, and i think she'd throw a good pup with the likes of Don or Reggie! But they all earn there keep upto press or they wouldn't be in the kennel regardless of breeding. So my answer is lurcher/lurcher over lurcher/grey Good post mate I'd agree... Quote Link to post
redcharge 378
Genuine question mate are you into dogs or they money? dogs and money dont mix. im sure you will dissagree but we each have our own oppinions. You go and tell Buddys owner that, think he will disagree. Money dont fook the dog game imo its usually Jelousy. IMO as soon as moneys involved people start seeing £££££'s rather than the dogs for what they actually are and will bend the truth and lie to themselves and others all to increase their profit margin, if people want to make a few quid go and get a f*****g job, peddling the arse out of dogs isnt the answer. Most of the well known peddlers I know havnt worked a day in their lives................. 2 Quote Link to post

Sam The Man - Waterloo Cup Winner Sarahs Bunny - English Derby Winner Ron Hardy - English Derby Winner ( i think ) Master Hardy-English Derby Finalist Fearless Action -Open Class Glen Corby Celt-Open Class Midland Mist -Open Class Its all about the Quality of Greyhound Blood Coursing Through her veins. Imo you will get a good pup from her whichever way you decided to breed. Be it Don, Buddy, Khan Jihad whatever. Depending on what future type you desire. I think the lad's got a good head on his shoulder's and will go the right way and i bet it wont be to a pure greyhound Swift def dont need no more Greyhound blood as stated above plenty of that in abundance in her blood. And he should have a good head on his shoulders, he's had a good genuine teacher by his side all his life. He may of had a good teacher but its obvious by his posts the lad is in his own mind where he wants to go and has his own opinions Quote Link to post
Ginny Spinner 455
Tbh i have never giving it real thought what i'd put over Swift. I think something like her and Eddie would gel well together... Keeping the blood there but adding that extra bit of heart from the bull that she lacks for things with teeth. I also think Don or Reggie would throw a nice pup over Sox. They'd level out just nice putting the more solidee build and wind in from the collie side. None of the above is something thats seriously going to happen any time soon just what i think what would throw a nice pup. And in theory add the bit extra to the pups. But the mating i am definetly going to do if my pup turns out ok is Maurice x Fenn. Hopefully get a pup out of them like my old bitch Ginny!! But apart from that i'm in no rush to have a litter of pups becauase i simply wouldnt have the work for it and i dont need another dog for a good few year. Quote Link to post

Most of the well known peddlers I know havnt worked a day in their lives................. So is it wrong for men-women to back their judgement and training-conditioning methods with cash in match bets ? Is it wrong for a man-woman to stud his dog out for £300-400-500 whatever per mateing if people deem the said dog worthy ? If a pup can sell for £300-500 aint that a better option if you dont know the buyer than giving it away because he tells you he is a working dog man? Iv seen plenty of these so called dog mens kennels covered in dog shite and water bowls full of grime. Maybe if they pay decent money they might take better care of the hound ? Like i say its jelousy thats always been the bain of the dog world and imo for the best part always will be. I aint ever sold a dog or pup and aint ever gave 1 to somebody i didnt know theres as many dickheads out there with money as them with no money just because ye put a high price on a pup please dont think that will guarentee it a better life and chance 1 Quote Link to post
