an old freind in edinburg not far from me gave me pics of his bulls as i hadnt seen them for twenty years had him out for a few nites over the years he had a great pure bull max ,and a few others he bred a few half crosses then put them back to saluk crosses bred good dogs he had a few light coulored bull crosses out of the litters seen quite a few light bull croses in usa to ,

so are you going to marks when i run him im sure he said you were

I'm away for a shower then off for my tea..here's a wee yarn from back in the day when everything looked to be going ok turned into a bit of just one of those nights/days ...One particular night jogs my memory from a few years ago.My younger brother Allan who is 14 years my junior and has owned a couple of top class Minshaw dogs himself was still at school and pestered me to take him out with the dogs.So off we went along with Slav in his "new" Escort van with our grafters for the night Patch and Kes.The night kicked off ok,some caught & some missed but atleast my brother was enjoying himself.As the night wore on the dogs looked worse than average and made hard work of everything they ran whether it was caught or missed and by the time we had 14 hares in the bag which wasn't too bad i guess? i entered a field with a good handful of long ears in expecting to score for a couple atleast.Well the dogs got a run at them all and caught ..jack shit! Boiling doesn't come close,i have been known to blow a fuse on the odd occasion and that night was one of them.I took the lamp when exiting the field and gave it a full swing before hitting it on a metal gate post and smashing it ,i ripped the wires from the battery and flung it over the hedge,i then took off the battery and sent it into orbit!. That was our lamping trip over that night anyway,on the journey home didn't we get a bloody puncture and with me knackering the lamp and battery left us with no light whatsoever so we chugged a few miles to the town of Longtown the 1st town in England coming South or the last in England going North where we could safely change the wheel.Slav had only just got the van,tidy looking motor with alloys and seemingly a great runner too?,it had a spare wheel,jack,wheel brace so what could go wrong? The alloys didn't have a locking nut but the wheel brace didn't fit,strange we thought so as the morning milk float passed we asked if he could help and he said to Slav jump on and i'll take you to get a wheel brace that fits and bring you back,which he did....two hours later! Well by the time he got back my blood pressure was going through the roof.Slav jumped off the milk float with his usual toothless grin and walked over to me and Allan with wheel brace in hand...but it never fit either the b*****d! Well that was it i opened the passenger door sat in the van and put the window down to let out the steam but the window was out of alignment and as i tried to put it back up it went cock eyed so i took hold of it and ripped the f****r right out of the door . I was shouting & screaming what a f*****g cowboy operation this is for fucks sake!!. :laugh: The last resort for us was to phone our mate Chud...60 mile away but Chud new his stuff and said the alloy wheels will need a deep reach socket to remove the wheel and he'd bring some for us but would be an hour and a half atleast?.So in the van we got AGAIN,it was a bloody cold winters morning and feeling icy and me pulling the van window out never helped our cause too much! While waiting for Chud to arrive the most ghastly smell appeared in the van,Allan was asleep but Patch had decided to do something i have never ever seen him do other than on this one occasion and that was to help himself to a breakfast of fresh hare,well i could of killed the f****r ,the words which left my mouth were like bullets heading in his direction ...what a bloody night! When Chud did finally arrive he sorted out our wheel problem in no time and offered my young brother a warm dry seat in his motor for the journey home which was accepted.As it was now getting on towards late morning Allan had missed school which he didn't mind but i did in a way as since our mother had suffered a brain haemorrage when he was only two he was the responsibility of us elders to do the right thing and school was a priorty for him...although lamping wasn't that far behind lol! We arrived back home at 12.30 in the afternoon frozen and hungry! Slav had the window fixed later that day and the lamp & battery that got the full treatment that night wasn't even mine as that was poor Slav's aswell lol! He took some abuse off me with my tantrums when we were out lamping or with the terriers but he never batted an eyelid and just left me until i cooled down!..what a fecking dummy thrower i was if things didn't go to plan :laugh: ...cia until later..ATB Andy.

ive never made any secret of venus's short cummings,, in fact i have mentioned them on here for the hole wolrd to see,,, go back to over a year ago and read some of my posts,,its all there in black and white... she does pull up after a min and a half,, im i happy about,,,course not,,, but theres feck all i can do about it ,,,,unless i get rid of her,,,.

 

 

one thing i will do is NOT breed from her.........in all litters not evrydog will cut the mustard,,, unfortunatly i picked the wrong pup,, as did edrd,, up in scxotland,, yet there brother who is up there,,is doinging evrything,, ask bob

 

 

 

now anybody that talks to me ,,either in pm or at the numerouse shows i attend wil get the truth about my dogs,,there abilitys and there lack of abilitys.. i never try to hide anything.

 

 

infact any lads out there that have pm'd me asking about venus over the last two years,,,can tell you if ive been honest with them ,,put it up here, gents,,,,thanks

one of the most decent and honest blokes ive met on these god forsaken forums,,,,,your dog's do exactly what you say they do, good or bad,

Where does it say my bitch has given up running rabbits? Read the post again...although i dont why i am answering to this.

 

I dont think this is Mark Brick...i have few ways to confirm this (i know a cumpter geek) and the other reason....the grammer is far too good.
