This is just to reply to what my lad Frankel mentioned about the Patch dog and his better hauls of gear..he was just a lamping dog so if you think this was nothing out the ordinary then FairPlay,personally I thought it was pretty good going lol but I would say that? In truth I never have given the Patch dog the recognition he probaly deserves? He put some serious amount of gear to bed in his running days albeit he's been dead a good many years now,rabbits,hare,roe and fallow he had them all in quantity,foxes on the otherhand!! ..no way he was just an arse ragger lol ..of the twenty odd times I have came home with 20 or more hares with the two dogs in the one session Patch has been present on 18 of those occasions. Nigh on 400 hares in his best 18 shifts.. no they weren't on consecutive trips or anything of the sort but still a feat I'm kind of proud to have achieved with one of my owld mutts? ATB Andy

watching a vidieo natraul born hare killers,theres a dog on it called strom big white cream dog,they said its minshaw x coursing stuff, only 13 month old,any of you lads rember it ?

 

I think Baz could tell you about the dog and it's siblings who were also running on the video? The father of Storm and Co was a dog called Spider from a few doors from me,it was bred out of Minshaw's Blue x Dusty ...Dusty being out of Saxon (Saluki x Grey) x Sandy (Bulpa x Tess) and was litter sister to Kes the black bitch...ATB Andy

Baz,can you remember that little bitch Breeze she was a little red bitch out of Darren's dog Solo? I'm sure you seen it at graft and your mate had the black un from the litter? Good little rabbiters? Breeze is the dam to Minshaw Man's bitch,she was mated to Chester's brother..ATB Andy.

 

 

Yes, my mate had breeze, she was a cracking little lamp dog, but only for 20 , fast,tight, with cracking mouth, but not much wind to be honest, and it was an ugly fecker but good little dog for 20 bunnies , ihad the black one, meg, she was built like a brick shit house, looked like a real heavy pit bull, she didn't make the grade for running, but my mate had her terrier mans dog, which she loved...she was eventually stolen, my mate has a bitch out of her now to a Wheaton x. Snoops dog dre is out of breeze, he been a good dog for him.

Yeah the sire was black and tan Baz,Blue was it's sire and Dusty also a black and tan bitch that looked like a Sal/Grey real light framed,drop ears etc was out of a 31 tts fawn dog called Saxon and it mated the litter sister to that laal black bitch called Kes it was called Sandy and was also a red/fawn colour.. Dusty's brother was Boy a dog which sired my bitch Kelsey and also the black dog Lad so the same blood in dogs like Chester,Flick and lot's of others? The Dusty bitch was bred by a lad called Cock Maguire..ATB Andy

The sister to storm is still alive, my mams neighbour has it, it had a litter of pups to carsons brother, I think that jim barker got oe of them. I bred them for lamping with, but they did ok on hares in the fields. Couldn't do the fens, but ok round blackpool and Yorkshire.

MINSHAW MANS bitch is sired by Red I owned it and so did Darren,it's the brother to Chester it was a jacker IMO? Don't get me wrong the f****r could run but only when it wanted too? I got offered red years ago, but heard it was picky on rabbits, which wouldn't of been much good to me haha. Minshaw man bitch is fairly well bred then, and is inherited the picky it or not ? Has olo been over many bitches?
