I used to take the brother to traveller out as a kid, it wasn't the same stamp as him tho, it was more greyhoundy in shape, the lad who owned him was killing plenty of bunnies with him at the time, I'll see if he has any pics of him for the thread, also another mate had the sister , i seen pics of there dam,grip, she looked the same as her sire, a big powerhouse of a dog

No mate they are just flea collars to stop them getting fleas & ticks...i keep em on all the dogs,never seen a flea on them..if they have fleas then they will 100% have worms so it's just a measure to keep the dogs healthy thats all Jai..ATB Andy.

Did Rambo line any bitches?? Or nigger, , there was a litter bred round here from blue x grip over a blue x greyhound bitch, they made a decent litter, one of the dogs even made a good daytime dog and was sold on for big money as a coursing dog

Rambo only ever mated one bitch Baz called Suzie..it was a 3/4 Grey x 1/4 Collie..it was crap i went out with it a few times and it didn't have enough wind to blow a candle out,i ain't at home at the minute but i'll fire a pic up of it tomorrow when i'm home..it only had one pup and it was huge..the lad who owned the bitch went in the army and the dog never seen a rabbit ..what a fecking waste eh? Was the sire of the "coursing" dog out of Rambo's litter or Traveller's?...Nigger lined nothing when he was up here in West Cumbria Baz but i know he threw a real dog down in Lancs called Micky..it was talked of in high esteem by plenty of lads..Busher knows more about him than me though ..ATB Andy.

It was out of second litter, a it looked alot like the white and brown dog a few pages back, the dog that was sold on ,Darren who had solo seen it run, it was supposed to be deadly behind gear

It's sire is Jack the grandfather to your bitch and it's dam is Tomo's bitch Visa below..

 

 

 

Visa is coursing bred being out of C Moyses dog Captain..Tomo or Maxhardcore know her exact breeding but she has some canny blood in her..ATB Andy.

well i seen CHESTER running at around 11-12 years of age... on fell ground on the A66... he was running with FLICK, and one of my non-minshaw blooded dogs.

 

It was the first time i had been out with the G.H and even at the age CHESTER was, he made a mockery of my dog. He'd fly down the beam and scoop rabbits up better than dogs half his age. I have it on word that CHESTER was one of the best dogs this small town had seen.... and would of loved to see him running in his prime! 16 hares solo, 10 roe solo. He also possessed one of the old "minshaw" traits...

 

One evening GH had been out with chester & flick. and had about 7 hares in the front of the van. As he was pulling up at home, he noticed a car parked up, he said to me "i thought the neighbours had bought a new car"

 

This wasnt to be, as a particular P.C with a GRUDGE came out the car and greeted the GH... GH "clicking" what was happening he took his dogs and put them in the run.. The PC said he was going to seize his van, suspicion of poaching, and he will also be seizing the dogs well, the GH said to the PC well go on then, go and get them! The PC duly went to the dog run to be greeted by chester, showing his pearly whites, growling like a rabid dog.. "go on officer, help yourself" ........

 

the officer backed down and said ok on this occasion i wont seize the dogs

 

apparently later that morning, around 4am.... a recovery wagon came & towed away the van, orange lights flashing, the full works......... what must the neighbours have thought
