Just to revert back to how the Flick dog was bred well the dam of him Tara who i just put a pic of and below her of her dam Blaze well this is Tara's sire on the left here called Sandy alongside my dog Patch...ATB Andy. ;)

 

Andy, is that the guy from yesterday with all the funny stories?

I wasn't ever going to comment on this thread ever , I wasn't prepared to say anything about the breed or the men although I've seen a few run and know a lot of the men mentioned including victor gh

That guy yesterday was the Ginger Hunter,he owned Chester and also a dog called Flick in the past,two grand dogs who caught a lot of game..i have had some very "entertaining" trips out over the years with him as you can imagine having met him yesterday :laugh: ..daft as a brush he is but he knows the craic when it comes to lurchers :yes:...my lads are always laughing and joking about what he say's :boogy: ..here's two of our current crop Swift & Don..top dogs they are!!...well top of this fecking mountain anyway :laugh: ..ATB Andy. ;)

well im sure he made a lasting impression on you moll, sometimes us cumbrians can hardly understand each other, so as an outsider you had no chance :D

 

Anyway, anybody want to give me a hob ferret for a swap with my minshaw lurcher? :D but the hob ferret must be able to kill a rabbit, as I struggle to break a buck rabbits neck :D

This is my youngest lad Jackson with Don on both pics,1st pic after a mornings ferreting with his two cousins and the 2nd on a trip down the Dales..all four of my lads have caught far more than i ever did at their ages :icon_redface: ...good mentor they have though :whistling:

That picture of blue and Rambo, they look massive, couldn't imagine anyone holding them two back if they wanted to go hahaha

 

Don't forget though Baz the fella holding them just escaped dwarfism by an inch or two haha..ATB Andy
