Went out again last night, and thanks to the tips on the baiting, it worked well, went out about 8pm and gave up at 9 as it was hammering it down, but one of the best nights i have had yet, makes me wornder why i had never had a .177 before, seems easier to work out the holdover etc, than with a .22 but thats my opinnion, anyway the conneys are getting bigger in number, so any tips would be great, as far as i can guess set up in cover around 30yrds away from the well used burrows i ferreted in the winter around sundown and so on?

Yeah they are a great rifle cant praise it enough, more the rifle than me sometimes i think!, the funny thing is when one was shot i stayed in cover and left it there, this seemed to attract more and more as it went on, to greedy and nosey for there own good, also the TX is not as loud as it seems which helped!

Any tips for the conneys?

Well i should think there was about another 10 -15 Circling and roosting in the distance so will have another pop again at the weekend and try to take the camera along this time!

Great shooting mate, they go mad when one of their own goes down, makes for good shooting as you found out.

Your right with the rabbits, but I would say just let them get clear of their holes, I had ones that have been shot square in the head still have the instinct to dive back in!!
