gnasher16 30,217 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 I dont think he should of been sacked,simple...............2 cup finals one of which they won......ok a poor league position but you can bet your bollocks if they had finished 4th he,d of been a hero and got an extended contract.....well 4th is still not 1st................I wonder whos fans have had most to shout about this season Arsenal and Spurs who will get the open top bus treatment for winning nothing apart from a European place next year,or Liverpool whos fans have been to Wembley twice and lifted a trophy.............This champions league thing is terrible for English football ive said it for years its taken so much competetive spirit out of our game and this today is a perfect example.....Dalglish gets punished for getting to 2 cup finals.....Wenger gets rewarded again for doing nothing....... I guess thats the problem when your club is owned by people with no interest in football.......sad times and i dont even support the club. Spot on , too many big clubs have settled for qualification to the cl as a measure of success ,they make no bones about thier lack of ambition to win the league or champions league , as long as they qualify and bring in the money , they may as well make it thier ambition to stay in the premier league .
