billybaltic 308
i wont touch a catty ever again after having to carry my mate back to the motor years ago, when the elastic snapped and ruptured his left testicle that had to be removed in hospital, all for a fezzy or two, i could here his screams for months after  I think you just put me off them too :0 When I was a kid I used to make cattys out of a shelf bracket and a load of elastic bands knotted together, the ammo we used was lost head nails bent over at the end so they hooked on the bands and were pretty lethal. One time me and my mate got collared by this older lad who was a bit of a dick and demanded a go but the thick fecker kept his thumb stuck up and nearly knocked it off , I've never heard a squeal like that and his thumb nail went purple and started swelling straight away and I'd imagine it was broken underneath, apparently it was my fault not the fact he was a putty head. done the same but we used wire fence staples. mind even susan boyle is getting into it  at school we used to stretch athick elastic band between thumb and finger and use fence staples from the panel fence around the school veg plot my god they stung lol. Ha! we did similar but with folded wads of paper. Another beauty was to cut the end off shoe laces and push a pin through it to form a sort of mini dart. And use them through a biro tube in a sort of pea shooter style. Advanced classroom weaponary! LOL That take's me right back to my old class room, loved them dart's until i heard about a lad who took a deep breath to fire the dart, and it shot down his throat, think about it, the pin is pointing forward's and can't move forward without sticking in himself, stopped me and my mate's from doing it, alway's wondered how they sorted him, well we got gun's from then on. LOL I get that it cant have been pleasant for the kid granted.. However breathing in when trying to fire a pea shooter when you really should be breathing out is taking the word fail to a whole new level in my opinion. Probably just natural selection doing its thing tbf
