ferret vasectomy price

picking up hob soon i know he will be to young for a while but i thought i would find out what it is going to cost me so just rang my vets to price the vasectomy and it is £39

 

i was expecting more than this so was wondering what every one ells has paid ?

Snap his hand off,I have just had one done for £39 but it went in with a load of others that was bulk price,last yr I had a hob done and it cost me £58,shop around mate but that sounds very reasonable to me,

Really difficult to find a vet down here in Cork who has done a vasectomy on a ferret, managed to find one that is "willing" to have a go at my hob but reckons the price will be around 150 to 200 Euro. Which seems expensive to say the least, rip off Ireland strikes again.

I had a quote for my 2 last week, 50 quid for one or 45 quid each if they are done together. Sounds like you had a bargain.

I sent mine with a mate, who runs the local ferret rescue, but it might be an idea to ask around on here every spring and try and group together,theres real benefits with block booking,

£50 here + another £50 for the histology to make sure they've cut the right tubes out !!!

aye good price mate,we paid £48 but sadly the wee hob died 3 days later he just never seemed to come round from the op,never seen my 16year old lad as gutted as this,now looking for a small hob again.
