im currently running a transit connect 53plate with 180k on the clock, had it since new and dosnt owe me a penny, never missed a beat, im looking for a new van and im drawn to the vw caddy, just looking for opinions on the caddy.....mpg,reliablity and stuff like that......if this is in the wrong section please move!

The Caddy is the better van no question about it,but then its a slightly more expensive van and holds its value better......but thats simply through whats known in the trade as " badge snobbery " :D ......The earlier Connects are not built to the same quality as the Caddy,both are very similar as regards running costs though the Caddy is a better looking van in my opinion.....both will take 1 pallet though its a bit more of a squeeze in a Caddy................and most Caddys have windows in the back instead of the full doors which some people dont like....................thats about all i can remember :thumbs:

cheers for the opinions folks, the caddy is the better i agree, as im not really known for my mechanical prowess its good to get some other folks opinions...any van i own is a tool for work and taking the dogs out thats about it!
