Mooch. 177
Beauty. Those are some big paws he's going to grow into! Looking forward to reading about his progress. Does his name have a meaning? Edited May 16, 2012 by Mooch. Quote Link to post
stroller 341
Yes Mooch it means John in Hungarian which was my wifes Grandads name. He died a couple of years ago and we said then we would name the next dog after him he was known as Jock but that didnt seem to fit the dog so my clever wife came up with the hungarian equivalent Janos. He has settled right in and is causing chaos in the kitchen as i write he is trying to pull the socks off my feet! Quote Link to post

dicky82 1
little smasher- although it looks like he might've got hold of an, erm, 'marital aid' in the first pic what breed's the big curly dog? i thought that myself, give the dog a 'bone'. . . anyway, i was going to ask is it really a wire haired vizla? i would have thought it had a smooth coat? or do wire haired vizlas only have wirey muzzles? lovely pup all the same. stroller 341
Mornig Dicky The coat of the wirehaired vizsla develops as they get older, some are born very wiry and they turn out like teddy bears whereas my pup is just starting to show his broken coat around his feet and his face. ive also seen smooth coats out of 2 wire haired parents i suppose its a breed that is still developing so all sorts pop up even long coats. i dont think they get their full coat until they are 2 year old Quote Link to post
Dave C 63
I think the darker the red the tighter the coat. So yours should have a tight short wire coat mate, just the way i like them . To many have longer wolly coats for me. Quote Link to post
