Gaz_1989 9,539
This is my new lurcher "lady". I posted pictures of her yesterday asking what cross people thought she was as my mate was interested in her. He didn't have her in the end, said she was too big for him, but I was really taken by her. She walks to heel and doesn't leave my side. Recall is ok, needs work but I'm expecting that will improve when we have formed a bond. This is the photo I posted yesterday... She is a lot thicker set than this in the flesh and definitely bull and saluki based. Probably sal/grey x bull/grey I'm thinking. This is a quick head shot of her just this afternoon doing some bonding on the sofa... 2 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Supposedly 2 and half mate. She looks a lot older with that grey on the muzzle but her teeth are in good nick and she plays about like a puppy. She might be 3/4 I guess. She can't half shift and she's nowhere near fit. Can't wait to get her in shape and see her behind a rabbit. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
No mate I aren't. I think my missus would rehome me if I brought a 3rd dog home. It was a tough decision as I do love whippets and have always wanted one. But there was something about this bitch and my gut instinct was saying give it a go. I will have a whippet somewhere down the line Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Thanks mate. As you say, I will never know her breeding but doesn't matter really. She's a lurcher Her owner died so she went to a friend but he doesn't work dogs anymore and couldn't cope with all his own pet/show dogs aswell as this lurcher. Gaz 1 Quote Link to post
