shaunpauls7 131
Well I'm 19 and coming to the conclusion that I need to take a path into a career. So I applied for a few courses to get me started and I have been offered interviews for the two of them. The first course is a 2 yr course in landscape and design and then progressing into a horticultural course. The second course is a nc game keeping course that I have my interview for on Friday. The only thing that's been putting me off the game keeping course is the bad publicity on here about being a full time gamekeeper. I know that I should go with what I think would benefit me most but stuck in-between the two. What do you lads think? Atb shaun

shaunpauls7 131
Cheers for the input lads. Either way I will end up in the same college at some point. As the horticultural course is in the same college as the game keeping course, Still passionate about the two courses suppose not the best place to take advice from lol. I have interviews for the both courses so I will attend both and go from there. If I take the game keeping course then I will be moving into college accommodation in fife. Well I suppose this is a decision I need to make myself but a right hard one at that. Now coming of the age where this will determine what I do for the rest of my life. Cheers lads thanks for taking the time to reply to this it is very much appreciated. Atvb
Born Hunter 17,751
Talk to professionals in both fields, tap into their experience. It's alright going with your heart now but the reality of the career may be different to the dream.

shaunpauls7 131
On the landscape side of things I already have experience in that role but looking to expand my knowledge into a professional career. As born hunter said I will try and get in contact with people in both sides. In saying a career for the rest of my life that's me just getting worked up as I have given myself a time scale to get me up and going (silly really) But i have in my head studying from now till I'm about 23 and after that hoping to walk into a career. Cheers lads your reply's mean alot. Atb

Atb shaun You're doomed if you look at it whatever your vocation maybe as a 'career' in my opinion. I've had too many careers to count. Gave up....now i'm just careering and I couldn't be happier check out my blog below and you'll see what mischief I've been upto the past two years!
