earth-thrower 493
The trapline is a trap im unfamiliar with.Im finding out more and more about it ,courtesy of this site. So im naturally curious about how effective it is against moles, compared to a duffus or talpex ? Any feedback appreciated. Cheers. Edited May 15, 2012 by earth-thrower Quote Link to post
moley 115
its a bit fiddly to set , but that could be lack of use or fat fingers, apart from that , its a good little trap and seems to kill nice and fast, handy on loose soil or along paving slabs Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
As moley said handy for under patio slabs, paths and very good under the fabric used under decorative bark chippings . Wouldn't use them for general everyday use tho.....take too long too set and check. I've also got a few No-Mols I use for the same purpose Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 493
Cheers guys, and thanks for the tips, about situations where these traps can be applied. My brother who is in the states, sent me some No-mol traps, must have been about ten year ago now.I remember trying them out a couple of times, just for the novelty, and they did catch.I felt it was quite a strong trap, considering the design of it.I didnt set it according to the instructions though,i remember bunging just one in on a feed run, gambling on the mole coming out to feed or work, rather than returning back.I never anchored them with the canes either,i just replaced the cut out turf, back on top.
