Advice needed on crossman 1077 for starting up.

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have a 1077 crossman donated to me by my brother who no longer uses it. I am looking to get into hunting small game and I am wondering if this gun will do what I want I'm new to guns and I'm looking to use this gun or something similar to start off with for hunting rabbits and pigeons.

Any advice on the gun it's self, it's shooting ability or something that will be better suited for my needs.

All the best,

Tom

Ok, cheers guys.

Mole what would you recommend?

Any other opinions or recommendations welcome.

I will be looking at them all.

I'm thinking of just using it to practise a bit of shooting the save up and get something of good value that's a good peace of kit that will last me.

Cheers

I would look for a secondhand HW95 personally, probably the best break barrel in the world.

I personally like Hatsan rifles, but they are not money keepers, buy one and in a year or so you will have lost 50% of the value of the rifle (which is £50), buying a secondhand HW you will not get that problem.

The HW95 is low recoil, low noise and a damned good gun with a superb trigger.
