what cross do you dislike & why ?

dont mind bullxs had 3 of them, but would( not) have any more, i dont think they have (constitution ) for the long haul .!! The x i dont like are beddy xs, my 1st lurcher was beddy x whippet x grey, and it was twat of a dog, wouldnt do (anything) that a lurcher should do. It nearly was 1st and last lurcher, it put me right off lurchers.? Maybe it was just a bad dog, because my other dogs after (bullxs,colliexs,bitza,none ped whippet , were no prob at all good lurchers did there jobs as best as they could .

Im not a fan of heavily saturated saluki X's and i can't stand the heavy clody bull X's..

not a lover of the bull cross but i like any lurcher no matter whats in it so long as it pleases its owner thats all that matters end of day theres bad dogs in every cross some times its not the dogs its the owners that do not have a clue and blame the said cross atb troter

I don't know about disliking any type, but if I had the room, I'd love to experiment breeding with some of the more obscure breeds; Galgo's, Chartpolski's, Rampurs, Ibizans, Pharoah's etc. There are loads of sight hounds out there, some of which don't even exist in the UK.

Iv only ever had one breed of lurcher so far, and the way she's turning out..I don't see any reason to experiment with any other breed..atm. someone on here on another thread something about what happened to the old type lurchers, why are there so many bull xs, someone came up with.."you need to move with the times" lol I thought that was a typical "bull x" owner answer..that there's nothing as good as a bull x, but their are far better crosses that will do what a bull x will do, and more ..or more of and quicker lol I personally haven't got anything against that breeding but its the type of attitude the owners have, and why they have them..ye foxes need to be controlled but half or more of the owners haven't got permission off the landowners to kill foxes, the reason why they have them is to go out and see their big bad bull xs killing things to brag to their dealer about lol iv said before that some bull x owners are genuine, but 9/10 times the reason why people have jumped on the band wagon is to do what iv stated above..

I wouldn't say i disliked any running dog as long as it was fit for perpose, however the dogs i used to love the collie greyhounds i wouldnt take the chance on one again the mere thought of collie blood these days brings me out in shivers

i didnt like the look or thought of the beddys but i have found new respect for them

i think never dismiss anything or you could be missing out
