It's not that mate, someone thought they heard a penny hit the deck in the back row and the rumour spread like wildfire!
gnasher16 30,025
Nothing wrong with Goodison its one of the great old traditional grounds where your virtually on the pitch ive always enjoyed going there......im presuming its still the old Bullens Rd end shoved in the corner they would always give us both tiers as we always brought good numbers....nothing wrong with the view unless your behind a pillar or right at the back of the lower tier you cant see the opposite touchline but then thats the same as all old traditional grounds Highbury was exactly the same.Another good thing with them old grounds because they,re so enclosed you can certainly generate some noise....which is something you just cant do at the Emirates and United etc Edited May 16, 2012 by gnasher16

scothunter 12,609
A little film about a club that had 30,000 attendencies whilst 12th the olde 3rd division (and there ain't many can say that), the same club who where the last to win the English first div/premiership title with a team solely made-up from Englishmen, the same club to hold the highest attendance record and the same club that introduced the concept of wing-backs......i give you the mercurial City of Manchester Football Club...... And the same club ( and only club ) to be relegated as champions .............................and the same club ( and only club ) to score 100 goals in a season, and concede 100 goals in the same season The highest attendance you can have that one.....although it was in the 1930,s !!.....the wingbacks thing ive never heard that before i dont know where you got that. The other thing you can keep is that pathetic cringeworthy Polish dance when you score a goal.....whats that supposed to be unique .....lets not start pretending City are some great big club who have returned to their rightful place...............you bought a lottery ticket and won nothing more nothing less but that dont buy respect. Nothing wrong with that.................. "Lets all do the Huddle, lets all do the huddle!!!"........ http://youtu.be/YbjccPaO4K0 That is one of the stupidest sights in football IMO.....regardless of who's doing it! ..............f**k off!!! Quality sight....you'll not get that many places. Defo not at Goodison. Infact to let you know that Goodison is the worst football stadium i have ever been to, you could only see half the park from where i was sitting and it was on a par with Copenhagens stadium that had tramps in skips outside and rat traps set in the bogs... the only good thing about it would be if the weight of them jumping was too much for the stadium and it collapsed leaving them all buried amongst the rubble Haha

foxdigger13 114
Big wake up call for United to off load a few players, I can think of at least three that should be playing sunday leagure . also Just seen the pictures of Tevez holding a banner "RIP FERGIE", makes me laugh how a few weeks ago he was despised at city and now he stands at the front of the bus No worries its only on loan. we've lost the title simular to this in the past and always come back stronger, probably this time we need to bring in a host of Players if we want to compete with city starting with Eden hazard. That's the sort of thing that would never happen at United, and does nothing but bad for the club. But then again, Tevez has repeatedly shown that he has no loyalty or respect for his club. I agree with you about the players too, but unfortunately I suspect that Hazard will start next season wearing the blue of City rather than the red of United. Hazard looks a class player but I to think he will go to city, feck knows why tho as he'll probably spend the majority of his time on the bench, but I think Manu will sign Kagawa who Is a player that Id love to see playing for us.

City don't really need him, the players they've got will start playing better together as the years go by. Funny how Mancini was contradicting the chairman when he said they were going to be spending like Real and Barca when the chairman said that there'd be no more crazy spending now they've got the main core of the team sorted. Also the difference is Real and Barca generate their own funds, City won't be able to compete with them if they've got to abide by the financial fair play rules starting to come into effect next season.. Saw Kagawa saying he'd met Fergie on the news earlier, plus he said a few months ago he'd be lining up for Utd next season. Haven't seen him play but from what I've read he's a pretty handy player.. He scored 17 goals this season and set up a load more, so it wouldn't just be a daft marketing transfer.
