gnasher16 30,025
So a fan that folllows there club through thick and thin doesn't deserve to win a league title..........however they come about it? I appreciate you love your club traditions but you love them cause thats what you have at the moment and you dont have anything to compare too. I could long for the days where 11 Born and bred Glaswegians played for Celtic and lifted the European cup but the facts are i'm never going to see that again..............ever!!! So what i have to make do with is hoping we can produce young talent and mix that with a few experinced players and we might, just might have the makings of a team that could put up a fight in Europe one day. Its very nice this fairy tale that you want to keep the club you love so dear as a traditional club but if the money men were to come knocking you'd be saying "Yes please!!!"...... No of course you dont " deserve " to win a league title just because you follow your club through thick and thin.....i know people who are as obssessed with Leyton Orient or Dagenham and Redbridge as i am about West Ham or you are about Celtic......they will never in our lifetimes have anything to shout about and these are the types of fans i have the most respect for.........your hardcore Preston or Hartlepool fan who follows there team everywhere and dont moan or feel they " deserve " anything...the club is in their heart probably through many generations they stand on the same terrace with their kids that they stood on with there own fathers watching the same shit football.......ive said before im a West Ham fan first and a football fan second there was never a choice....a lot of folk these days get to a certain age and " decide " what club to support, thats all wrong ! I dont expect to have 11 East London born and bred players...but i do expect some.....i accept its hard to be sentimental in top level sport but you still need something to identify with as being " mine ".....this is my club i love it and theres lietrally thousands of men like me who love it in just the same way........money is not going to change that for better or worse if we go up next wknd i,ll be over the moon from a football and financial point of view.....if we dont go up but some mush handed us 100 mill instead you think that will heal the wound of what happened on the pitch......course it wont.
SLiP tHe DoG ! 129
im not a city fan but what a buzz i got of seeing utd lose the title & fergies face haha silly old twat IMO if your calling him a silly twat and are not respecting him you shouldent call yourself a football supporter, Cheers fd. Foxdigger ..................FEKOFF cheers STD Somebody knows that I'm right, Cheers fd. watched it & played it all my life so i am a football fan - Hes a silly old twat get over it If he's a silly old twat, what does that make the majority of other football managers in the trade who live in his shadow? its getting boring now , they live in his shadow becuase hes been around alot longer hes got about 20 year on other managers and yes hes won alot but fk me hes been there long enough , i prefer jose or gaurdiola , cant stand fergie never have never will said all season city will win the title and it will be a new era from now on It sure will, the big 4 have become the big two and the title looks to be staying in Manchester for the foreseeable... ..and bigger footballing names than you and me have been made to look silly by declaring an end to the status quo.. I remember when arsenal went unbeaten and chealsea emerged, all the sports writers were banging on about how the balance of footballing power was shifting for ever to the capital.. That went well, what was it, 3 titles in a row? I find football is that much of an uncertainty, it's easy to make a tit of yourself by speaking bollocks about what the future holds... hes won alot which is a good achievement , i bet about half the games hes won is through refs bottling it at old trafford and having referees on his side giving 5-6 minutes extra time when it should be more like 2 .... just imagine if the refs werent like that in there games ? i know you could say that about alot of teams but fk me utd get extra special treatment anyway get over it malt you idiot manc Good job you're not a betting man, or you'd be skint! This article shows the truth regarding decisions over this season: http://www.telegraph...gue-errors.html It's time all you United haters changed the record. i win bets reguarly every week as a matter of fact i just won just over 200 pounds yesterday on the last games i put every team on apart from stoke/bolton so put that in your pipe and smoke it

Ok we will be disagreeing on this one then................. All these fans you talk of that go week in week out and yet know fine well they are never going to win the league have other ambitions. Lets take your Hammers.....if you get promoted next week you will know hand on heart that you'll never win the Premiership. So your ambitions will now be for a cup run and of course Derby days. I can tell you now there will be thousand of City fans who over the years have followed there team up and down the country, weekend and midweek games, sunshine, pissing rain, snow and gale force winds who would have taken a big deep breath on Sunday and said "Well we f*****g deserve this!!!!"...... Im not saying you cant have ambition as a smaller club.....theres been seasons where the highlight of the year for us is bashing up Millwall simple ......being realistic is not about having no ambition, but your expectations are realistic you dont feel you " deserve " anything........i want to win every game we play as much as the next man...but i dont feel my club deserves anything we dont earn on the pitch........so why Man City fans feel like they deserve a league title after 44 years waiting is beyond me.....they deserve it because they have a rich sheikh for an owner ??.....they didnt expect it when they was in the second division 10 years ago so where this 44 years waiting comes from i dont know. NEWKID 27,088
Funny old game football fans I admire passion and the love of any sport where healthy rivals banter between themselfs. What I dont grasp is the hatered of each other that is depicted on here the other thread reads the world over we cant even get on over a wee game of footie let alone important things . Well done City as with all thing man utd getting beaten will only make them strive for better we inturn will give supporters a viewings and each team trys to get one on over each other. Lets face it man utd got turn over at home and away so in my eyes they tips the balance of fairness of the maddness of goal diffrents rule they both finnish on the same points just city scored more goals . ATB Cookie Agree with all of that mate............. when alls said and done its only football, we've all got bigger things to worry about I'm sure......the UTD fans ( myself included) will not be happy with losing the title to City, but it was one of the best seasons I can remember and without doubt the best last day ever ( unless your a UTD fan lol) All this UTD fans are W*nkers blah blah blah.... get a grip...... we're all the same, we would stand with each other in the pub and have the banter thats what football is about imo, Once again well done City it was a top season........ utd fans are the most arrogant bunch of knob heads ive ever met Who do you support mate

They deserve it because they were the best team in the league this season, the best team always wins the league. The one truism in football is that the league don't lie. Now I get you mate, I really do but I don't agree.....still that's not the end of the world is it ! Haha What has now left my in a quandary is that I really wanted Bayern to turn Chelsea over, but now I know that will mean champions league football for all those disgusting yids, now I really want Chelsea to win.......it's a loose/loose situation for me !!!!
