Clive used it over his bitch after the memorial cup, he was so impressed with the young dog. John Y saw the dog run for a full season on the fen and told me the dog was top class and beautifully conditioned.

John did his upmost best to take me to the hardest places to stop gear with del which he freely admits and laughs about now, one occasion he took me up some of his permission penrith way,be 5 acre fields wired to f**k,hills the lot and just shit land,he dropped me off at one side and just said ill meet you back her in a few hours,i found 3 all morning and he stopped the lot...when i was walking back to the motor he couldnt believe it,he says hes hunted the same land for 20 year and never caught 3 running doubled up lol,he was that clever big or small land it didnt matter,took him out last season for a lookout round sheriff hutton xmas time with john and still put game in the bag.

You know I was going to have a pup from Miles bitch if it had taken, if Del boy was good enough for him , he was good enough for me . Truly a shame it didn't work out, and a real loss to the breeding pool of day time dogs.

The condition says it all and that was the dog last summer, you could see he was something speacial the waay he walked the fields
