Delboy lined clives bitch and she had 9 pups,i never took one and CM got the one i would have had,some of them turned out decent im told but none as good as the parents.I took for granted that if i ever got the hunger back id line a top class bitch with him and keep a pup,i lined miles bitch and wayne,s bitch from leicester within 2 weeks of each other and both never took.Itook him down to a top greyhound stud and did some tests and to cut a long story short hes not producing any semen.

John did his upmost best to take me to the hardest places to stop gear with del which he freely admits and laughs about now, one occasion he took me up some of his permission penrith way,be 5 acre fields wired to f**k,hills the lot and just shit land,he dropped me off at one side and just said ill meet you back her in a few hours,i found 3 all morning and he stopped the lot...when i was walking back to the motor he couldnt believe it,he says hes hunted the same land for 20 year and never caught 3 running doubled up lol,he was that clever big or small land it didnt matter,took him out last season for a lookout round sheriff hutton xmas time with john and still put game in the bag.

Del is a fine animal, only seen him in his later years but the condition he was in would put a lot of younger dogs to shame, physicaly stunning and from watching him in the field he just looks the sort ya would want in our kennels, its a real shame he cannot produce, especially for the owner
