one that catches rabbits. with rabbits, it aint about the breed, some bull x's can excel more than some whippets. not generally, but they can. its down to the dog itself and how the strike, run and lo

My preference in dogs is collie xs so I'd chose one of them having said that a well bred whippet/grey is hard to beat at the bunnys

STILL GOT 1 ON LEFT-- 12.5 NOW HAD HER 9.5 YRS 3/4GREY 1/4 COLLIE --BEST IVE EVER OWNED, OBEDIENT AND WORK A1! AND THE BEDY GREY ON RIGHT WAS 14MNTHS AND HAD 2 OF THOSE RABBITS-ALSO GOOD DOG BUT WAS SOLD NOT LONG AFTER THIS PIC--- EITHER OF THESE CROSSES I FIND GD RABBIT DOGS

Get a beddy grey you wont be disappointed if bred right, also nothing worse if somein bigger comes along and your standing there with a 19 its beddy whip.

what , incase those giant rats come out, nightmare they eat bull xs for breakfast

thats rubbish all mine can turn on a six pence got good pace out of the blocks ya must have seen some poor dh x's then

yes pal u keep telling yourself that and one day it might happen,i think your a bit biased cause you own the cross, :thumbs: :thumbs:

end of the day dh xs might do the job. But it aint wwhat they excel in. Whippets on the other ha d are rabbit machines bred for them.

well having had differnt xs over the years, from ,( colliexs, bullxs, bitsza, no ne ped whippet, as a rabbit dog and nothing else got to be collire x grey, they are the best at this job day+night . And my best so far from all my rabbits dogs as been Bryn my 1x collie grey. His best night on the lamp is (28 from 30 runs) and marked 30 in the day ferreting, which i think is good a very good rabbit dog.

Bryn 1x collie grey 25in 60lb 5 in sep.

have to agree with bird on this one, perfect rabbit dog i had was first x collie grey not only a rabbit dog but a great alrounder, done rabbit, hare, fox, day or night very smart dog, he stood about 27" heres and old pic of "MICK" post-7569-0-52766900-1336953868.jpg
