In my opinion if i was ever breeding a dog it would be how good is the mother at her job i think its the mothers side you must look at more than the sire what ye think

if you put a beddy dog on a whippet bitch its 1/4 beddy 3/4 whippet was big into greyhounds few years back always looked at the bitch first if i was getting a pup thats why i said id see other opinions

ive not done any breeding so im prob not the best person to answer this but had dogs all my life and for me you would have a first x beddy whippet to get a 1/4 beddy 3/4 whippet you would have to put one of the pups back to a pure whippet imo

I think it varys from litter to litter. The young dog I've got, and all it's siblings bar one, are Identical to the farther, which was a red, smooth dog. And the dam was a black n tan feathered bitch. Other litters I've seen have thrown to the dam.

theres was a few links on here a while ago an they all said that the bitchw as responsible for more than 50%, dont know who put them up or if they were true, but they made good reading

greyhound bitch and irish terrier dog mate there not half bred pups? cant get my head round this was bad at maths at school but didnt think i was that bad
