Why not have a well trained dog it's easier to work with than a point and slip .. Summertime walks are great for learning the dogs new stuff. Quote Link to post

You've basically admitted you couldn't train your hair mate...Barbara Woodhouse type obedience is over-egging it a little but you can't beat a well-schooled obedient dog.
