gnasher16 30,573
Unreal finish , The City fans today have been on a Roller Coaster that makes "Oblivion" at Alton Towers look like a childs slide , Best league in the world imo , Arsenal 3rd , mind the gap Yiddo's , Chelsea to win champions league and that will be a great end to the season with the YIDS losing out on 4th spot qualification If i was an Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs fan id be a bit worried about the 19 point gap between 2nd and 3rd spot !!...............I really hope this league doesnt become a 2 horse race year in year out with 6 or 7 clubs fighting for 2 champions league places. I thought it was a great day for your average football fan for sheer excitement....but a bad day for English football. Also....something i find hilarious.....6 or 7 years ive been having the footie natter on here ive never spoke to or even seen a Man City fan on here....this week ive seen 3 or 4 Edited May 13, 2012 by gnasher16

Also....something i find hilarious.....6 or 7 years ive been having the footie natter on here ive never spoke to or even seen a Man City fan on here....this week ive seen 3 or 4 i think its always been a 2 horse race since premiership began , just happens at the present time its man.u and city , in the past man.u. / blackburn , man.u/Arsenal , Man.u./chelsea .... Man.u have some record over the last 20yrs , I remember when Jack Walker and Blackburn where takin the league/transfer market by storm , everyone said they would ruin English football by dominating , same about Abramovich and Chelsea which hasnt happened , so i think as in yrs gone by man city is now the team to beat next season and other teams/players will have up there game i.e. through asstute signings and younger players they have maturing , i have no fear off the premiership ending up like Scotlands Premiership , a constant 2 horse race for the last 25yrs , the league now is as strong if not stronger as its ever been , a team finishin 6th is in the Champions league final , dont think thats happened before in any country . gnasher16 30,573
Difference being when Abramovich went in Chelsea were already not far off, they was top 3 or 4 most seasons leading up to him taking over......Before the sheikh went in City rarely finished in the top 10....10 years ago they were second division !!.......and rarely has there been 19 points between 2nd and 3rd,if ever...... Be interesting to see over the next few years how it pans out.
foxdigger13 114
Tbh I'm happy that my team has only lost On goal difference, i mean IMO are squad Is the worst its been in the last 10 years and are best defender Vidic has been out nearly all season, And after how much city have spent they should of been about 15 points ahead of everyone by the end of the season, I think this speaks volumes about Manchini, Cheers fd. Well over the years probably quite abit, but the difference is as you've stated it was over the years whereas city spent all that in about one year, Cheers fd.
