The dog in the title is 20 months old and 27". Over the last couple of weeks or so when he has a run on a bunny he seems to be pulling up early  Is it the case he is starting to use his brain a bit more and thinking to himself i wont get that one before it dives into cover so f**K it. It can be quite frustrating at times as it seems as though he is missing some easy runs in my eyes.

keep him away from the rabbits for the time being

as they are probably frustrating him and you dont want

it getting in to his head that he cant catch them wait untill

september and get him on to some them big rabbits were

he has a bit of space and time to do the job.i think the big

rabbits will suit that breed better or else you could give it

a dropper :victory:

Get rid, The dog will just keep disapointing you. Put your time and effort into something worth while.

Instead of swearing give your opinion! If a dog has pulled on numerous occasions it will always do it. I dont fancy even trying to chase that rabbit it looks to hard !!!!!!!!!

Sorry your right. I should of give my opinion, but was on fone so as usual, just mouthed off.

I think that there are a few good dogmen on here that will give good advice as to give the dog a chance.

As I am just about to give up rescue, the thought of another dog becoming just a "tool" piss's me off.

Yes i agree dogs should be re homed as pets or sent to the happy hunting ground if there not suitable for the job they were bred for.

Well.....I think the dog should be given every chance.......befor the OWNER decides whats best to do with said dog, if it be pts or homing ;)

Edited to add.

I am sure there are dogmen on here that will give the dog a chance.

Oh & please dont treat me like a tree hugger.......I only do that part time at midnight to calm dogs down.

Dogs that jack all the time, even after given rest, chance ect, should be given a permenant pet home, or humanely, put down.

Only keep the best, breed only the best and their will be good dogs, like we have over here in Ireland :D;)

Frank.
