You've got your hands full!

Recommended Posts

OK, does anyone have any witty answers for me to give the hordes of ickle pet owners walking their ickle dogs when I pass them, lurchers and terriers at heel and ignoring their mad mutt straining on the leash barking/growling/screaming at me and my pack.

Nine times out of ten, what do they say? "Oh you've got your hands full there" :censored::censored: God! I so wish I could tell them what I really feel like saying. The other one they come out with is "how DO you manage all those dogs at once?" and even better.........."How do you remember all their names?" 5 lurchers and 2 terriers...how hard is that??! :icon_eek:

And the best/worst one.........usually a Collie cross intent on stalking my dogs: sets down about 50 yards away as it's coming towards us, owner lingering way back along the track oblivious to what their little sod is doing: giving my lot the eye, which tends to upset mine just a bit (they see it as a threat) AS the owner comes up they nearly always say.................you've guessed it> "He just wants to play!"

FFS, it's driving me bonkers: so any witty replies would be greatfully received: NOT the sort of replies that will land me in court or hospital please! :D

When your out walking and a strange dog tries to attack yours to which the owner says "hes never done that before". Last year a guy was walking his two dogs across the fileds towards me so I called mine and put them on leads, this idiot is calling his dogs which ignored him and covered the three hundred yards between us, his little dogs were trying to bite my three, one a German shepherd who wanted to eat them. In the end I shouted to this guy about getting his dogs, at this point I was still thinking "these things happen". However the guy just stood there and waited for his dogs to return, when I got level this guy was holding his dogs (no leads) and started to get arsey, I have no idea why but I saw red and explained a few of my own thoughts on the matter...............verbally.

Not many window cleaners use ladders anymore, they have long poles to reach the top ones :victory:
