Lab 10,979
natures never cute and cudley despite the best efforts of the bunny huggers i saw a crow take a full grown wren off a hedge a while ago We found a feral pigeon chick where I was working once, it was a good size but not able to fly. I was gong to wring it because there were a load of crows perched about watching intently, and my mate stopped me. He asked me why I was going to do it, so I told him it was as good as f****d the minute we walked away, so was going to put it out of it's misery. He was still intent that he didn't want me to do it so I put it back where we found it and walked away. As soon as we were 20 yards away, down they swooped. My mate was amazed. Couldn't comprehend why the crows were bullying it. I told him they weren't bullying it, they intended to rip it apart and eat it! a few years ago a young girl knocked on my door with a young rabbit full of mitsy, i went to pull its neck and she burst into tears and ran off with it (perhaps i could have been a bit more sensative ) anyhow a couple of weeks later her mother came knocking at my door asking if i would come round and kill there 2 pet rabbits as they had mitsy now and she had already spent a fortune at the vets trying to save the original one, lesson learnt Done similar myself mate. Was at primary school and we got a new lad starting, a bit strange (english) but they had moved into the big house in the village and he asked a few of us up to kick about at his house. Now the garden was massive and it was near the golf course, infact i had skelped many a golf ball garden bound... so i thought i go look for a few golfballs. Anyway the garden was alot of Rhodedendrons and i saw a mixi rabbit, looking pretty sorry for itself i managed to grab it. After a bit of squealing i was just about to chop it when this lad said that it was his "brothers pet rabbit in the garden and i was to put it down and leave!!". Ok then......... Walked away, gave it 5 mins, jumped back over the wall and put the poor thing out its misery......
