does anyone no of people who give there coursing dogs full hares with skins still on just gutted, because i have seen travelers with there dogs under there wagons with there dogs feeding on a hare. someone told me this is too teach the dog to kill the hares it catches. atb goose123

It's probably just because they catch hares and don't like to eat them, themselves, so it's a cheap bit of dog grub.

My dog is fussy as f**k with rabbit..so I don't bother feeding it to her..could be diffrent with hares..

In the winter, hares are my dogs main diet. I gut and skin them, but they eat the heads and feet too.

I was out ferreting with a mate when he chopped the head off a rabbit and chucked it for his dog, the dog ate it all and loved it? I never thought of giving them the head

i only found out cos i was clumsy and droped one
