ferret show

theres a ferret show on the 11th august at alvas cochrane hall, 12 till 3, i went last year was okish, but seems theres going to be ferret related and hunting stalls to this year. I got runner up last year lol. Theres a fee for the stall if anyones interested i noticed the gumtree ad for it.

Ran by a ferret PEDDLAR who talks utter sh!te. reckons he successfully bred mink/weasel/ stoat hybrids. His names Kyle. Wouldn't waste my time or petrol.

 

I can honestly say that it was the worst event I've ever been to.

everyones entitled to their own opinion mate but it seems to me that the lad has made a promise to bathgate ferret rescue to make a donation from any proceedings, he has also not bred ferrets this year, you may ask why do i know well i have met the lad, bought kits from him and they have always been healthy, if he was a peddlar he would have been kitted out

also i will be attending the show this year its at a good time, and i know others who will be, last year i think the lad had an interest in hybrids i think this may have been taken the wrong way, everyone gets things wrong in life and deserve a second chance id argue this point, hes a young lad and i have took him out hunting and hes always been very keen and his ferrets good workers

Show pony lol. Only been to 2 and one was at scone so killed 2 birds with one stone

 

Look, I spoke to Kyle after that ferret show and have been out ferreting with one of his 'mates'. I have also spoken to Kyle via text and he told me he had a few different litters of kits out of these so called 'hybrids'. His mate I went out with was done over by Kyle, can't remember the ins and outs of the falling out but it was over black eyed White breeding and him making money out of this guys Jill.

 

The show last year was appalling, there was supposed to be ferret racing and there wasn't- ok, a 2 metre piece of drainage pipe but not any form of racing.

 

Your right everybody makes mistakes but if he plays with fire he's only going to get burnt so to speak.

 

I can't see how he will improve the show as everybody I know wouldn't touch it or him with a bargepole.

 

Doesn't matter what your like now, your past actions still get held against you.

AND some of us have been tricked into parting with our much-loved ferrets on the understanding they'd be well cared for, only to find them advertised on the likes of Gumtree, ad trader etc several hours later with a hefty mark-up .

 

Give it up Middlemass, no-one will ever take you seriously whether you're a reformed character or not, after all that you've done. Peddlar is the most appropriate word for this scumbag, won't be touching it with a bargepole either.

 

He does like to refer to himself in the 3rd person quite a bit so don't be surprised if you see a few folk jumping on the bandwagon to defend him!

this is my show. i hope for a good turnout. i did dabble with hybrid crosses but after my hutches got burnt i decided not to pursue dat line of breeding. the show last year was good i thought. the turnout was disapointing but i hope to improve this year.

i am not a ferret peddlar, i havent sold many kits and think that just becaus i sold a few doesnt make me a peddlar.

 

i will be donating money to bathgate ferret rescue from this show.

lol i think some people last year were upset due to the hybrids, i think the show will have good turn out, as for being a peddlar i wouldnt agree with that, if he was he would have been kitted out very foolish some remarks ect about hybrids, he was not the only one messing around with these so called hybrids over the years, i have seen even some people on this forum ranting foolishly about micros and dark ferrets being the better hunter, a ferret is a ferret end of, as for the show i beleive it will be a better one than last year, i have spoken to the lad and offered my help, i btw will be providing the clear tubing so the pipe racing better be good lol, as for you saying the lad takes your ferrets and sells them on this is absolutley untrue, i havent seen any ads by this lad for nearly a year, the only ad i can find is someone called grant from alloa and another posted yesterday by someone from tullibody, not every ad in this area put up is this lad selling ferrets, so grow up or shut up,

Wasn't there advertisement's for everything in Gumtree each week and when questioned he said it was somebody he fell out with putting the adverts in ?.
