good show as always piper.......did you get to hear about the pile up on the motorway on way home...we were 4 cars in front of it and MH was stuck behind it for hours

 

 

Thanks Terrier 2. Liam just told me he said it took him over 3 hours to get home. Glad that you and the rest of the crew are ok.

Good show with alot of nice dogs there,good to see signs of working dogs at a show not just the fancy pamperd types. Only down fall i thought was the lurcher judge constantly on his phone while supposedly judging making folk wait whilst stood in ring an jesus Christ the man wa giving all his pals 1 sts all time it wa a bloody joke. Also for me he a coursing an rabbit bloke so shouldnt have been judging bullx coz he clearly showed himsen [bANNED TEXT] up there as alot of people commented on his choice of champion!! Ive seen stronger wippets than the bitch he chose an it wa a lad he wa pally wi all day whos dog it wa what that all about??!!. Well rant over just shame when folk all go for a fair chance an u see some good dogs there that judges like that are allowed to do it, stick to ye rabbit,hare dogs judge an leave the bullx to lads who respect the breed!!

Anyone know what the dog food in the bags for the winners in the Terrier class's was, i know its Wonderdog but according to the leaflet with it they do 6 different types, my terrier loves it, was thinking about buying some, cheers, buster.

Well my lad certainly did,nt know the lurcher judge,he walked away with 1st in 2 classes and runner up in show.The judge made his choice,another show,another day,another judge the results may have been different,its called personal preference.Take the losses as well as the wins,its only a show.

I am sorry if he upset anyone with being on the phone. I did not know at the time,But they was a valed reason for this,it was a personal matter.He did not want to let us down and they was no one else to stand in for him.

      QUALIFIERS are available to GB SHOW ORGANISERS for the following CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner.

      Fell and moorland wtc are holding in there summer show again in good old Lancashire. 
      Get yourself and the family down to support this club. All the cash made gose back to the members if they have a dog stuck and need a rescue. 
      All the usual classes for the terriers and the running dogs. Champion bull X  and child handler for the kids! 
      And Anyone wanting to show there Bedlingtons we have a class for them as well. 
      Qualifiers for champion of champions at the Midlands, Pride of the peaks and more!
