Irish Lurcher 1,013 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 Folks, I was off work today so I made my way to a wee lake not to far from house. As you can see I took my lurcher bitch along for company. Head section of a mackrel was all I has for bait so out it went into a deep channel, I was no more that five minutes in my seat when this brute took a liken to my bait, anyway away went the line with alarm doing over time as the pike peeled braid from the reel, twenty one pound was the weight of the pike, and I managed to get two bunnies with the dog. Two hours fishing, not bad result. Happy days John PS; a local farmer took the pic. So I gave him the bunnies for his supper, one happy guy. Quote Link to post
