I sent rifle through recorded delivery for 48 hour....it took 5 days....guy thought i had him off but was very oppologetic when it turned up at his house....some things just take a little longer....give it till end of day tomoz

Especially with Parcel Force, they aren't very reliable. It took them three days to pick something up last time I used them (three days late)

I know mate, it's not that im worried about, i wasn't worried about anything till he started this thread calling me a scammer, i wasn't expecting the gun till maybe early next week, then people started messaging me about saying they think they know who it is, and him hanging up on me when i said who i was, as i said, it's not looking good.

 

I've got nothing to hide, i can't stop my parcel, so here's my proof of postage.

im still waiting for books posted on the 5th and knife that midnight sent last week. probably just bank holiday mode by royal mail

Also his profile location is bristol, and his postage address that i sent the gun too was cheltenham, which is over 40 mile away! and not suspecting anything but most people that have been scammed were scammed from people from cheltenham, i apologise to genuine people from cheltenham, but all this is just looking very dodgy!

Hi i think you all need to grow up on hear. Not everyone from chelteham are scammer's and iv notist as soon as a scam goes on MOLE and a few other are trying to solve it by saying most of the time its the graham . you cant keep blamming them. there loads of scammers out there. This forum used to be good now its crap hardly anything about shooting every topic has something about scamms in its stupid. So basically i've got him hanging up on me, him not providing proof of postage, him trying to claim that i posted the parcel then after i got the receipt, instantly stopping it and keeping the receipt, (is that even possible???) Him now saying he posted it not recorded so no proof if i receive it, people messaging me telling me they know who it is and what they are upto. that's why im suspicious. think this thread has bit him in the arse. And i hope people can now see why im pee'd off! I know alot of info now, but never the less i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and see if the parcel turns up, then if not inform the police in his area. If they won't do anything i will be going to his real address and asking 'politely' for my rifle.

I think an 'escrow' service for swaps would be good. I'd be happy to volunteer my services, but Royal Mail don't ,as yet, issue post codes for caravans....
