Rake aboot 4,936
Shine a lamp down a fairway and slip the dog. It`s like watching the f*****g red sea parting before you. 3 seconds and they are in the rough and doon a hole. Not for the faint hearted dog like. 2 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
I certainly was. I lamped a bowling green with my mate last year and the rabbits are like they've got a rocket up there arse. Golf course is even tougher IMO as its not a flat field, ups and downs, dikes, trees, bunkers, flag markers etc. My bitch runs out of the beam to cut them from where they are heading (bushes or trees) and then runs them fast in the open. But she only gets about 1 in 5. It's good fun but would never fill a bag. I'd like to see a dog catch 3/5 or more on a golf course. It would have to be built like a whippet/grey with collie brains I think to be a golf course specialist. Gaz 2 Quote Link to post
Floyd17586 454
Not a bad challenge 3/5 to be honest i reckon my saluki bull whippet bitch would take that all day Quote Link to post

moonlighter 1,164
When u lamp a golf course, I leave the dog at home. Golf courses are for rimfires. Unless you just out coz your bored and are not too fused if you catch or not. 1 Quote Link to post
