Chid 6,584
Friend used to do it , he was ranked 7th in the world at one point (which I'm told is good for an English fighter) and ranked 1st in Britain . He retired due to lack of fighter willing to fight him and having time off work to recover . He would of been fighting when you first started ... And he attended the Thai festival thing they had in Manchester in around 2001/2002

StevoSmith 147
Only think about Muay Thai is the Ram Muay....carnt dance at the best of times let alone at start of a fight...but most MT fights require you to do it as part of the ritual

moonlighter 1,164
I used to do it in the 90's. I used to train with malc scarboro and his wife, Lesley (who was British and eu champ). When the gym closed down I was heart broken at the time. There was only a couple of gyms in lincs at the time, the other been Lincoln (still natural born warriors). Had a few fights though and loved it.
Chid 6,584
From what i remember he was a beast with the kicks......would drop most men where they stood Well that's the story of the festival fight ref and organisers asked him and the other fighter to take it easy and put a show on both agreed but only Louis was takin it easy lasted a round before he got to pissed off , came out for the 2nd and just hit the other fighter with a kick before he'd even threw a punch and ko'd him ...
