I haven't seen a Linnet round here for years, well not properly anyway. I see the odd pair flying over and remember 20-30 years ago when the hedges were full of them.

I was absolutely over the moon when I saw this fella feeding his hen in a small bramble patch in next doors garden.

Apologies for picture quality in advance as it was very difficult to get anywhere near him and I don't own a good camera.
