Gaz_1989 9,539
Ive been offered a proven Vasectomised hob for £65. Is it worth while? He is 2 years old. I was thinking about getting a kit this time and then getting him Vasectomised but not sure how much it costs and heard it sometimes doesn't work? Is this a decent price? Quote Link to post
ferretracer 24
vasectomys can be pricey £ plus, unless ur near a easipet vets then a vasectomy is nearer £40 depends on area http://www.easipetcare.com/home Quote Link to post
happyferret123 13
I think that's pretty good really, if he's proven it saves you a lot of hassle of having to go back and forwards to the vets to have a new kit done. And if it doesn't quite go successfully people have ended up with unwanted litters so I think I would just go and get him. Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
My hob was £45, which is cheap when you see what others have paid, even at that price you are getting the hob for £20, I would go for him. Quote Link to post
The one 8,512
Thats a great deal as long as he is proven and only two years old mate i would bite his hand off Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Thanks for the replies. Going to have a look at him tomorrow Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
I'd have him ....£65 for a PROVEN vasectomised 2 year old hob is a fair price Quote Link to post
ferret100 47
When they say proven, ask for the contact details of others who've used him with their jills and check it out for yourself rather than taking his word. If he is proven, £65 is a great price. Atb, hope he is as described! Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
It's from a ferret rescue centre and they have been getting loads of them Vasectomised instead of castrated to save cost of Jill jabs on any Jills that they haven't had spayed He also comes vaccinated and micro chipped! Lol. Didn't know you could have ferrets chipped! Gaz Quote Link to post
